ASMPT's code of business conduct guides all employees to act with integrity in performing their duties. It promotes a commitment to transparency, ethics and responsible business at all levels of the company.
- Global Compliance: The code aligns with guidelines from the responsible business alliance and adheres to local laws and international regulations.
- Legal Standards: It complies with laws such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (USA), Bribery Act (UK), OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and various Hong Kong anti-corruption laws.
- Against Modern Slavery: The code addresses compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (UK) to prevent human trafficking and forced labor.
- Regular Updates: ASMPT's code is reviewed and updated regularly to stay aligned with evolving legal and ethical standards.
- Effective Communication: The code is shared through multiple channels, including intranet, notice boards, new hire orientation and compliance communications.
- Vendor Awareness: Suppliers must adhere to the code via ASMPT’s supplier code of conduct, ensuring ethical practices across the supply chain.
- Anti-Corruption Training: Regular briefings and training sessions are conducted for Directors and employees to reinforce anti-bribery practices.
- Severe Consequences: The code highlights the serious penalties for offering or accepting bribes or using improper means to gain business advantages.

ASMPT is committed to upholding the high standards of ethics and integrity. Our core values define the means by which we do business. We believe that doing the right thing is critical to our ongoing success. We have a stringent ASMPT code of conduct that sets forth the standards by which we conduct our business operations. This code of conduct applies to all our employees, to treat every aspect of their work fairly with the highest ethical business standards, including complying all applicable laws and regulations.
Similarly, we expect our business partners to respect our corporate culture and values, and act in a manner consistent with our code.

Whistleblowing Policy
Our whistleblowing policy provides employees and external partners with a secure channel to report any actual or suspected fraudulent activities or financial irregularities within the Group. Aligned with both international and national standards, the Policy ensures that the confidentiality of all reports is strictly upheld. In cases involving allegations of bribery or corruption, comprehensive investigations are conducted and appropriate corrective actions are taken based on the findings.
The ASMPT whistleblowing policy is established for employees and those who deal with ASMPT to voice and report their concerns, in confidence and anonymity, to ASMPT’s board and audit committee about any violations (whether actual or suspected) relating to ASMPT business conduct regarding fraud, bribery, corruption, financial irregularity or conduct otherwise in violation of this code committed by employees or others.
ASMPT is committed to promoting high probity standards and ethical business practices, and encouraging the reporting of concerns and actual or suspected misconduct or malpractice by any employee and/or external parties in any matter related to ASMPT
All reports received shall be handled in a reasonably timely fashion and with a high degree of confidentiality, and if there is reasonable suspicion of a criminal offence having been committed, a report shall be made to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
ASMPT pledges to protect employees against retaliation and adverse employment actions for whistleblowing concerns expressed in good faith.
If any employee and/or external party has committed any violations (whether actual or suspected) of the requirements specified in the ASMPT code of business conduct, they should be reported via the whistleblowing channels of the region from which the report is made.
This Whistleblowing Policy is reviewed periodically to improve its effectiveness and employee confidence in the whistleblowing process, and to encourage a “Speak Up!” culture across ASMPT.
